Yes! The library does not have to be used as the "event center" in Narragansett. The Community Center and the buildings on Clarke Road are under utilized.

This State has spent far too long siphoning off the 911 surcharges
for the General Fund and it should stop at once.

I too voted for the bond referendum. I did not vote to buy anything from Gilbane. I would like to see a new analysis of the cost to expand the current library (and yes I know it will be a hardship to have it temporarily closed if that is what it takes). This Town took all this land 40 years …
