NORTH KINGSTOWN – During his report to the North Kingstown School Committee, superintendent Philip Auger addressed rumors that have been circulating around a possible influx of Warwick students transferring to the North Kingstown school district, assuring residents and parents that there would not be any new students transferring from the neighboring city. 

The concerns from North Kingstown residents stemmed from recent cuts, nearly $8 million in total, made to the Warwick School Department.
