EXETER – This month, Exeter joined a growing list of communities who will be taking part in Playtime at the Polls, a program for the November 2020 Presidential Election that supplies a “kids table” at a selected polling station. The initiative is intended to make Election Day as easy as possible by keeping accompanying children engaged in activities, like arts and crafts, while their parents and caretakers vote.

Playtime at the Poles was founded by Meg Carnaroli, who introduced the idea for the midterm elections in 2018 and piloted the program in Providence and Scituate.
