Snow begins in Southern R.I.

Snow has started falling rapidly in Narragansett and is expected to continue throughout the day with a mixture of rain.Â
According to the National Weather Service it will be mostly snow before 4 p.m., and then snow, possibly mixed with rain with patchy fog after 10 a.m.and a high near 35.
Narragansett will experience a northeast wind of 20 to 28 mph, with gusts as high as 45 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. A total daytime snow accumulation of 6 to 10 inches is possible.
