Checkpoint opens at RI border

A soldier keeps a safe distance while speaking with the driver of an out of state vehicle.

The Rhode Island National Guard has begun stopping all cars with out-of-state license plates entering Rhode Island. 

The checkpoint is set up near Exit 3 on I-95 North, and is no longer limited to exclusively New York drivers.
