Governor-elect Chafee swearing-in Charlestown council Monday night

CHARLESTOWN -- Governor-elect Lincoln Chafee will be attending Monday night's special Town Council meeting to swear-in the newly elected councilors.

Chafee will be swearing-in the winners of the Nov. 2 general election, who were Daniel Slattery, Thomas Gentz, Marjorie Frank, Lisa DiBello, and Gregory Avedisian. Then, the council will elect a president and vice president.

The meeting occurs at 6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 15. Seating in Town Hall's council chambers is limited to 100.
