SOUTH KINGSTOWN – Although Election Day can be seen as a relaxing day off for some people, for others it is a day to work hard for what you believe in either by working at the polls or campaigning for a favorite candidate.
Campaign workers manned their polling places to support their candidates and to exercise their right to vote.
“It's what you believe in. We have the right to [vote]. A lot of people have fought and died for that right to vote so why wouldn't you?” Ken Plymesser said, who campaigned outside South Kingstown High School for his favorite candidates.
