ACLU challenges N.K.’s political sign ordinance

NORTH KINGSTOWN – Last Wednesday, Rhode Island ACLU volunteer attorney Richard Sinapi filed a federal lawsuit against the town challenging the town’s ordinance that “discriminatorily” limits the posting of political signs in town. The lawsuit was filed on behalf of independent Congressional candidate John Matson. For more on this story, pick up a copy of this week's Standard Times Newspaper.
