Charlestown solicitor to clarify affordable housing plan

CHARLESTOWN -- An attorney representing homeowners abutting a proposed affordable housing development has asked the town to look into whether it has followed the correct procedure in promising funds to the development.

Town Solicitor Peter Ruggiero believes the Town Council has taken the proper steps in creating the agreement with an organization looking to build an affordable housing development. But he said he will report back to the council at an upcoming meeting to clarify the raised concern.
