WEST GREENWICH — A split day is better than two losses, as the East Greenwich boys outdoor track team came to find out on Tuesday. The boys team traveled to Exeter/West Greenwich High School to face off against the Knights and the team from Chariho, hoping to improve their southern division ranking only weeks away from the division meet. After Tuesday, the Avengers are now at 2-4-0, not an ideal position, but given the team’s strengths and weaknesses, this is right where they could expect to be.
East Greenwich fell to Chariho 114-36 on Tuesday, but came out on top of Exeter/West Greenwich, 79-31.
