WOOD RIVER JUNCTION – The Chariho School Committee voted 8-0 Tuesday to approve a revision to the district’s policy regarding academic requirements for high school graduation.
Superintendent Barry Ricci proposed a revision that would increase the physical education requirement to two credits. “We’ve long been criticized for only providing one quarter of PE,” Ricci said. “We’ve found a way to schedule it so we can provide a semester.”
