EAST GREENWICH — The Town of East Greenwich now has less than a week to submit its budget for the 2012-13 fiscal year.
But given that there are still significant differences in opinion as to what the school budget should be, the talks may last much longer than just a week.
The Town Council and the East Greenwich School Committee met once again inside the cafeteria of Swift Community Center on Monday evening, still trying to come to an agreement of a school budget that separates the two sides by just over a quarter-million dollars.
Read all about it in the May 10 edition of The Pendulum.
