Threatening essay stuns school, EGPD

EAST GREENWICH — There were already plans in place for a police presence every Monday and Friday at East Greenwich High School.

However, on Monday, there was more of a reason for police detail given the circumstances surrounding sophomore from the school who recently posted a disturbing message online.

East Greenwich Police, along with the Attorney General’s office, are investigating the message that was posted on Facebook by the juvenile that described a school shooting.
