The high-school playoffs were hot and heavy on Thursday for a slew of local area teams, with some taking another step forward towards their goal in being either the best in the division or state.

East Greenwich 7, Lincoln 6 (EG plays host to St. Raphael on Friday at 4 p.m.)
North Kingstown 16, Pilgrim 4 (NK will host winner of East Providence/Pilgrim on Saturday at 4 p.m. at Lischio Field)
South Kingstown 10, Toll Gate 6 (SK travels to Bishop Hendricken on Friday at 4 p.m.)
Narragansett 11, Classical 5 (Narragansett travels to Tolman on Friday at 4 p.m. at Slater Park)
Ponaganset 3, West Warwick 2 (West Warwick travels to Woonsocket on Friday at 4 p.m. at Barry Field)
Woonsocket 2, Exeter-West Greenwich 1 (Season ends for EWG)
Prout 7, Tolman 6 (Prout hosts winner of Narragansett/Tolman on Saturday at 4 p.m.)
