WARWICK - The Chariho girls lacrosse team keeps playing better, but can't find a way to put one in the win column.
Missing a few key starters, the Chargers played well against Warwick Veterans Monday but a late comeback was stalled in an 8-6 loss.
Krysti McFadden and Hannah Baker scored two goals apiece for Chariho and Jessie Barber and Carissa DeSantis added one apiece.
