RICHMOND -- Members of the Town Council were unhappy with several elements of the first draft financial audit received at last Tuesday night's meeting.
Council President B. Joseph Reddish III opened the discussion by saying the council received the draft of the audit just the day prior, which wasn't nearly enough time to fully review 70-plus pages of the document.
But in going through it preliminarily, he said that it appeared to be boiler plate and did not address Richmond as an individual.
"We're not other towns," Reddish said. "We are Richmond. We take pride in our individuality and our personality."
