CHARLESTOWN - There will be a new face behind the town administrator’s desk at the Charlestown Town Hall for the next three weeks. Town Treasurer Patricia Anderson will be ascending to the roll of Town Administrator in the absence of Bill DiLebero.

Anderson, who admitted to being both nervous and excited, was appointed as Town Administrator during a special agenda meeting at the town hall on Wednesday, July 6. DiLibero and the town council reviewed the agenda for the town council meeting on July 11, Anderson’s first meeting as Town Administrator.

“I hope everything goes well,” Anderson said with a smile, before she was officially appointed. “We have a good group here, everything will be fine.”
Anderson said that while she hopes nothing out of the ordinary happens, if something does come up she will be ready to handle it.

DiLibero will reassume his position as Town Administrator upon his return to Charlestown. He is currently among a select group of town legislators from all over the country studying at Harvard University as part of a three week town government program at the Kennedy School of Government.
