EAST GREENWICH â€” Members of both the East Greenwich Town Council and the East Greenwich School Committee formally presented their proposed 2015 fiscal budgets in a public hearing Monday evening at Swift Community Center.
Town Manager Thomas Coyle publically announced that the Townâ€™s budget is slated to increase by 3.02 percent to $59,849,417 â€“ a jump by about $1.7 million from the 2014 fiscal budget. Of the entire budget, approximately 55 percent of the total â€“ $32,472,100 â€“ will be for education.
