In its financial report for what was an otherwise strong third quarter for the Canada-based coffee chain, Tim Hortons announced that it effectively closed 36 locations with 34 of those being in the Providence and Hartford, Conn., markets last week.
Anyone who looked to grab a coffee or a bite to eat last Thursday, Nov. 11 from a local Tim Hortons was out of luck as they were greeted by signs proclaiming the restaurant's closing.
