Taylor pleads not guilty to charges of murder, mutilation

WAKEFIELD – Robert M. Taylor, who is accused of murdering his mother, Allison Taylor, last May in Narragansett, was arraigned in Washington County Superior Court on Monday.

Taylor, 46, with a last known address of 485 Plainfield St., Providence, pleaded not guilty to one count of murder, one count of mutilation of a corpse, two counts of larceny less than $1,500, and one count of vandalism.

He was indicted by the Washington County Grand Jury on the above charges on Nov. 15.

Taylor is currently serving five years for violating the terms of his probation for prior crimes.

He is due back in court Jan. 6.
