Supreme Court to hear case regarding house built on wrong lot

May 1, 2014

PROVIDENCE – The Rhode Island Supreme Court will hear oral arguments Tuesday on the case of the house that was built on the wrong lot in Narragansett.

The case of the Rose Nulman Park Foundation versus Robert Lamoureux dates back to 2011, when it was discovered the property, located at 1444 Ocean Road, was built on the incorrect lot after Lamoureux entered into a purchase agreement with a potential buyer who conducted a survey of the property, which revealed that it was built on a neighboring parcel.
