Students, teachers defend keeping languages at NKHS

NORTH KINGSTOWN—A sizeable number of teachers, students and outside educators attended the North Kingstown School Committee meeting to speak out against Superintendent Philip Auger’s preliminary budget, in which he has suggested the district may cut language courses at the high school level.
