SK American falls to Warwick Continental in final game

WARWICK- After losing to Warwick Continental just two weeks prior in the District 3 11-year-old All Star Tournament, South Kingstown American had one more chance for revenge in the final game of the tournament. South Kingstown needed to win two games to avenge for their loss and win the entire tournament.
On Sunday at Warwick Field, it was a different game, but the same result for South Kingstown, as they lost to Warwick Continental, 10-2, making Warwick the tournament champions.
Warwick Continental jumped out to an early lead in the first couple of innings of the game. The team scored nine of their 10 runs in the first two innings of the game. Warwick’s Tyrell Bernal was sensational for his team, leading off the game with a solo home run. Bernal was also great from the mound for Warwick, recording the game winning out. AJ Ucci had two hits and an RBI in the game for Warwick.
