A response concerning 'Letters to the Editor'

November 4, 2011

Due to a severe failure with the office email that occurred on Sunday, any Letters to the Editor were unable to run in this week's edition of the East Greenwich Pendulum. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused.

The office email - cpeditor@ricentral.com, as well as all email inboxes for all the editors and reporters - was still down as of Thursday and we are unsure when it will be back up and running.

For the time being, any Letters to the Editor that you would like to submit for print in the Pendulum must be sent to jamesbessette5@gmail.com until the office email is back online and we'll run as many as we can.

Also, the deadlines for our papers for this week have been bumped up due to the Veteran's Day holiday on Friday. Any letters you wish to submit for the edition we would prefer to have by Monday afternoon at 5 p.m.

Again, we apologize for this error and we hope to run your letters in this coming week's edition.

Thank you for your understanding and thanks for reading the Pendulum.

- James Bessette, Editor.
