Residents file injunction in Rolling Greens case

NORTH KINGSTOWN—A number of residents have filed an injunction in Superior Court this week, opposing the town of North Kingstown’s recent approval of rescheduling public hearings on the Rolling Greens mixed-use commercial project. Last month, the town discovered that it had incorrectly advertised the hearings in the fall of 2012, at which time North Kingstown’s Planning Commission and Town Council approved comprehensive plan and zoning amendment changes which would allow the Rolling Greens site at the corner of Rtes. 102 and 2 to be developed.
