Reddish, Oppenheimer retain Richmond council rankings

November 29, 2010

RICHMOND – The only incumbents who ran for re-election on the Town Council retained their seats as well as their rankings.

B. Joseph Reddish III and Henry R. Oppenheimer will again serve as the council's president and vice president, respectively, for their newly elected four-year terms. The vote for Reddish's appointment was nearly split, though, as two members voted to make Oppenheimer president.

They received the honors at the council's Nov. 16 meeting, when they were sworn-in by Lt. Gov. Elizabeth Roberts along with councilors Erick A. Davis, Peter Fanguillo, and Paul Michaud. Roberts also swore-in Town Clerk Tracy Nelson Hay, Town Moderator Pasquale F. DeBernardo, and Town Sergeant George S. Edwards Jr.
