This week, Narragansett town and school officials met to discuss next year's budget in which the school department is requesting increase of $467,678 for the FY 2013 budget, totaling $24,745,023.

The Narragansett Town Council also questions a $3,000 expenditure made to the Narrow River Preservation Society for water testing in December 2011.
