After last week's Senate Judiciary Committee, the committee passed the good time bill introduced by Sen. Susan Sosnowski on behalf of Attorney General Peter F. Kilmartin two weeks ago. The bill will inevitably make it impossible for offenders of certain crimes, including murder and child molestation to earn good time credits.

This past Sunday, the South Kingstown Land Trust talked with community members on how they can raise the final funds to reach the $125,000 necessary to purchase a conservation easement on Bud Browning Farm.
