As of July 9, Rhode Island became home to a nationally and globally growing company. Pinkberry, located in Garden City, Cranston, is now doling out frozen treats to a hungry public.
According to their website, Pinkberry serves a variety of frozen yogurt flavors packed with live and active cultures. Each serving is then offered a variety of topping choices chosen according to the liking of each individual customer.
âWe started in California and are expanding globally,â said Peter Casey, the Pinkberry area manager.
According to Casey, the flavors they currently offer include original, salted caramel, summer watermelon, mango, coconut and chocolate. They typically rotate one or two flavors at a time throughout the year, he said.
All of the treats are made with nonfat milk and yogurtâwhich is what makes them creamy, said Casey. According to the website, the frozen yogurt carries the seal of approval from the National Yogurt Association.
âWe are constantly working to provide extraordinary customer service." Casey stated that the community is "excited that we are in the neighborhood.â
