February 21, 2014

NARRAGANSETT – After the recent rash of winter storms, the town of Narragansett only has about $20,000 remaining in its budget for salt, sand, and snow removal materials, according to David Ousterhout, director of the Narragansett Public Works Department.

Ousterhout said the department also only has 11 percent of its overtime budget remaining, with still five months left in the fiscal year.
