Lisi, school committee discuss policy changes

February 28, 2014

WAKEFIELD — At Tuesday’s night’s school committee work session, Assistant Superintendent Pauline Lisi proposed potential changes to consolidate four school policies: Age of enrollment, assignment of students, elementary student placement, and student promotion, placement, and retention.

Lisi began by saying that she wanted to involve the community in the process of making the policy changes.

“Last year we created a communication plan and I’d like to work with that a little bit at the end of the session tonight to see how we can use that to further engage the community in this process,” she said.
