Legislation for NK sewer projects currently before House, Senate

NORTH KINGSTOWN—A group of bills which will move forward North Kingstown’s plans to install sewers throughout town have been heard this week at the State House. Sen. James Sheehan (Dist. 36—Narragansett, North Kingstown) and Rep. Robert Craven (Dist. 32—North Kingstown) submitted joint legislation that would allow North Kingstown to bring a bond referendum to voters on $6.6 million for financing sewers on Post Road—North, as well as for a $4.9 million for sewers in the Wickford commercial area.
