WAKEFIELDâThere are many individual designs and interior ideas for making your living space more enjoyable, but did you know a single piece of transforming furniture can really make a any room, office or home stand out from the rest?
Thatâs according to Lee Chartier of Inside Style, owner of a new interior design studio on Main Street in Wakefield.
âThereâs nothing like this in South County at all,â said Chartier,âYou have shopping choices, but thereâs no one that can help you put it all together affordably.â
Itâ has long been Chartierâs dream to bring her expert eye to the homes of south county, and the apartments, and offices, too.
The Brown University educated interior stylist desires to help others love where they live, work and play, by helping them figure out what like best.
Chartier emphasizes she will work with her clients, instead of telling them what to do.
âI need a day to shop around for them. Iâd rather find the better deals for clients, then pass that along,â said Chartier,âI just want to help you figure out what you want.â
Chartier will offer creative design services and classes, too.
If you take a step inside her beautiful studio you will spot many one-of-a-kind reinvented pieces, accented by her own original artwork.
You may fall in love with a bronze piece Chartier bought at a New York City fair, or a couple of sconces brought home from an auction at Trump Tower, she can create an entire room theme for you.
âFor $125, Iâll spend an hour and a half in your space, offering my advice, moving furniture, talking paint colors, make it better, more comfortable for you.â said Chartier.
Chartier said she likes using each and every corner of a building to create style in the home or office.
She also is a true Rhode Islander, preferring to do most of her shopping and business partnering right here in South County.
âPeople keep stopping in this week and thatâs been fun.â
Chartier said her philosophy is if you spend the time it takes to make yourself look good with figure flattering clothing style, further express yourself with a home or office that also tells people who you are.
InSide Styleâs Open House takes place Saturday beginning at 10 a.m.
