Gun owners rights groups join Costa in fight against tax on firearms, ammo

PROVIDENCE – Self-proclaimed defenders of the Second Amendment crowded the Rhode Island State House rotunda Wednesday afternoon following several calls to action from gun owners rights groups and Rep. Doreen Costa (R-District 31) to take action against a bill that adds a supplemental tax on the purchase of firearms and ammunition.
