Former Narragansett employee pleads no contest to stealing fuel from the town

NARRAGANSETT – Former Narragansett Parks and Recreation employee Raymond P. Beaudry was terminated last week following a no contest plea in Fourth District Court.

Beaudry, 58, of 51 Oak Ridge Road, Charlestown, pleaded no contest to one count of larceny under $1,500. Judge Joseph P. Ippolito Jr. assessed Beaudry a $500 fine plus court costs and ordered him to pay restitution to the town.

Beaudry was accused of stealing about $86.82 worth of diesel fuel from the town.
