Family honors a local physician with 5K race

Dr. Robert Trivett, who worked as a pediatrician in NK for over 30 years, passed away last March due to the effects of pulmonary fibrosis.

NORTH KINGSTOWN—Whenever Theresa Botelho took her children to Dr. Robert Trivett’s pediatric practice over the years, she always knew that they were in good hands. Trivett, who passed away last March from the effects of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, will be honored for the care he had given to patients in North Kingstown over a 30-year career with a 5K running event.
