Digital literacy program taking shape at Narragansett Elementary

URI students and Renee Hobbs, director of the Harrington school, were also in attendance.

NARRAGANSETT – The digital literacy program for fourth graders at Narragansett Elementary School has had a successful first year thus far.

Brien Jennings, library media specialist at NES, has spearheaded the initiative to bring digital literacy to NES and form a partnership with the University of Rhode Island’s Harrington School of Communication and Media. Jennings hopes to eventually bring digital literacy to the entire district.
