Developer creates a sportsman’s private oasis

July 31, 2014

WYOMING — Tucked along Route 138 behind stone gates, the Preserve at Boulder Hills is a private sporting club in the making. Though part of the property will continue its history as a golf course, owner Paul Mihailides has added to the original acreage and has a vision for developing facilities for a variety of outdoor activities.
“Golf in America is failing, by the national golf foundation statistics, and sporting clays and lifestyle choices is on the upswing. Just being in tune with nature is where baby boomers are going – most people want to spend their time outdoors. And so, I came up with this new concept with all things I like to do,” he said.
“All these activities – swimming, tennis, volleyball – just the whole concept of enjoying life and having the ability to be out with your kids , the people you love most, whether it’s your dog or your children or your grandkids – that’s really my concept,” he added.
