April 4, 2014

NARRAGANSETT – The Ocean SAMP Subcommittee of the Coastal Resources Management Council voted unanimously Thursday in favor of recommending Deepwater Wind’s application to construct the Block Island Wind Farm and Block Island Transmission System to the full CRMC.

After reviewing thousands of page of documents and hearing more than 10 hours of public testimony over three public hearings, all five subcommittee members said they were in favor of Deepwater’s application and proposed project during a workshop Thursday morning at URI’s Bay Campus.
