Council OKs ballot questions

August 7, 2014

EAST GREENWICH — Members of the East Greenwich Town Council formally approved three questions related to proposed amendments to the Town Charter during the Council’s July 28 meeting at Town Hall, inquiries that will be placed on the upcoming ballot for the November general elections.
The biggest question on the ballot, of course, is whether or not the Town of East Greenwich should abolish the financial town meeting, the formal confab where the public approves the annual fiscal budget.
