Council looks at zoning for SCTC’s new home

November 20, 2013

NARRAGANSETT- The Narragansett Town Council discussed the zoning change request by South County Tourism Council to move their office headquarters to 375 Kingstown Road during a public hearing on Monday.
The current owner, the South County Jewish Collaborative, and the potential owner, the South County Tourism Council (SCTC), have submitted a petition to amend the future land use map of the town’s comprehensive plan to change the designation of the property from residential to commercial use.
The SCTC is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting tourism throughout the South County tourism region.
