August 27, 2014

NARRAGANSETT – The town’s proposed 2014 Comprehensive Plan and Future Land Use Map underwent an in-depth analysis during a joint workgroup meeting between the Narragansett Town Council and the Planning Board on Monday evening.
Consultants Krista Moravec and Nate Kelly from the Horsley Witten Group in Providence gave a presentation on the focus areas for this round of updates to the plan, focusing on amendments in specific chapters that will lead to better local commerce and maintaining a high quality of life for residents.
The plan, required by the state to be updated ever 5 years, has been under review since the Spring of 2012 and is now nearing the final steps toward completion.
