April 24, 2014

The Colby-Sawyer women’s lacrosse team is just 2-11 on the season but the Chargers are getting another solid performance from senior Adrienne Bender.

Bender, from Wakefield (South Kingstown High), is a team captain and has eight goals and two assists for 10 points to go along with 22 ground balls, 17 draw controls and eight caused turnovers.

“Adrienne is the type of person anyone would want on their team,” coach Emily Rinde-Thorsen said. “She is the prime example of a student-athlete, excelling not only on the field but in the class room as well.”
