NORTH KINGSTOWN — What’s been a staple icon welcoming people to Quonset for 50 years has come home after almost a year away. Last Saturday morning the Quonset Seabee, weighing in at just over 3,200 pounds, was returned to its familiar location at the Seabee Museum and Memorial Park.

WESTERLY - North Kingstown's David D'Errico ran for 179 yards and two
touchdowns, leading the Skippers past Westerly, 18-6, in the tradition
non-league season opener Friday night.
Persistent downpours turned the Westerly High School field into slop and
forced North Kingstown out of its finesse offense.
Instead, D'Errico ran left, right and up the gut - 30 times total,
including eight times in a nine-play drive for the game's first score in
the second quarter.

NORTH KINGSTOWN – Dad might be leaving, but the children are in good hands.

After 23 years in the area John Holmes, lacrosse’s founding father in North Kingstown, is leaving the town and state for a job in Salt Lake City, leaving behind a high school program and youth leagues he built from the ground up.
