SOUTH KINGSTOWN - The South Kingstown girls had no problem finding goals Tuesday against East Greenwich.
The Avengers weren't exactly struggling either.
With two of the top offenses in the state going at one another with impressive scoring attack after impressive scoring attack, East Greenwich went on a 6-1 spurt midway through the second half to break a tied game and held on at the end to beat SK 17-15.
Kiley Powers led the Avs with seven goals and Meg Greineder had four with Marielle Kraft chipping in with three. Anna Basile, Betsy Thompson and Julia Waicberg added one apiece.
Olivia Mattyasovszky led the Rebels with seven goals and Chloe Cullen scored three. Haley Feaster had two goals for SK and Madeline Aitkenhead, Michaela Lawler and Emma Morgan had one apiece.
The win improved EG to 4-0 in Division I-South while South dropped to 1-3. South plays again Thursday at Curtis Corner against Moses Brown while East Greenwich hosts Mount Hope Thursday at 4 p.m.
