A ‘Center’ of attention for teenagers in East Greenwich

EAST GREENWICH — Three decades ago, Dan Casey was a child in need of a social outlet.

Growing up in East Greenwich among five other siblings by a single mother without the privileges the majority of residents enjoy on a regular basis, Casey, then at the young age of six years old, first heard of a program being formed at United Methodist Church where local adults and role models within the town were getting children of all walks of life engaged in recreational activities.
