SOUTH KINGSTOWN – The Planning Board held a work shop session Tuesday night, focusing on the comprehensive plan and wind energy conversion system updates.
The comprehensive plan is an update to the community Plan developed in July 1992 with approval by the State of Rhode Island on March 11, 1996. South Kingstown has routinely amended the Comprehensive Community Plan as warranted. This update includes certain elements mandated by state regulation, including land use, housing, economic development, natural and cultural resources, services and facilities and open space and recreation.
