Richmond Chief warns public of break-ins

RICHMOND - There has been a recent trend of residential break-ins in Richmond, and the Richmond Police Dept. has released a public safety notice to inform the public. The police are currently investigating leads and working to identify and apprehend those responsible.

RICHMOND - Local motorists have noticed a troublesome trend over the past few weeks. While gas prices throughout the state have continued to drop, gas prices along Main Street in Wyoming remain significantly above the state average.

Hopkinton has a new sheriff in town

HOPKINTON - After a search that spanned nearly five months, the town of Hopkinton finally has it’s new police chief.

David S. Palmer, a current Lieutenant and 25 year veteran of the Rhode Island State Police (RISP), will be appointed to the post in early January, according to Town Manager, and Acting Police Chief, William McGarry.

Charlestown youth arrested in connection to crash

RICHMOND - A 17-year-old boy from Charlestown has been cited and arrested by the Richmond Police Dept. for reckless driving in connection with an Oct. 23 crash that injured four Chariho High School students.

Next step in gun club: hiring sound engineer

CDTC makes tax credit proposal
