Feaster moving over for Orabone

Over the past six years no one has done more for the South Kingstown High girls lacrosse team than Jeff Feaster.
When the program began in 2007 Feaster was an assistant under Medelise Reifsteck and in 2008 he took over as head coach.
The closest thing he had to experience coaching lacrosse was watching his daughter play for the local lacrosse club.

The Southern Connecticut softball team appeared solid entering the season except for one position – right field. Sophomore Sarah Koerner ended all questions when she took over that spot for the Owls.
Koerner, from Coventry (Coventry High), is hitting .333 (24-for-72) with two triples, six RBI and 10 runs scored. She has five stolen bases.

It has been a rough go for the Crusaders since they made the jump to Division I prior to the 2011 season.

The Cranston West boys tennis team didn’t lose a single match last season and finished a perfect 18-0 en route to the Division II Championship.
During the Falcons’ run only one team – Prout – seriously threatened to upend West’s run as the No. 5 seed Crusaders’ were one point away from shocking the odd-on favorites in the D-II Semifinals.

Two games and Two wins so far this spring for the Narragansett girls lacrosse team, setting the tone for what is hopefully a strong season for the Mariners.
The 2012 campaign did not end as many Mariner fans had hoped but this season the team is looking to take the next step.
