Exeter-West Greenwich vs. Bay View at Rhode Island College, 8 p.m.
PROVIDENCE - The old adage is defense wins championships.
The Narragansett girls basketball team will find out for sure Saturday afternoon.
Using an aggressive three-quarter court trap, the Mariners forced 27 turnovers and in the second half turned most of them into points as Narragansett outscored Moses Brown by 22 points in the final 12 minutes, 40 seconds in its 55-32 win Tuesday night in the Division II Semifinals at Rhode Island College.
The Mariners move on to the D-II final Saturday at the Ryan Center at 4:30 against Classical, which beat Johnston 38-37 in early game Tuesday.

Jim Baron wasn't the only one released from his contract Sunday; long-time assistant Pat Clarke and first-year assistant Larry Harris were also let go.
